Senior library staff

University Librarian
Cathrine Harboe-Ree is the University Librarian. She is responsible for the overall management of the libraries across Monash University's six Victorian campuses, and provides advice to the libraries at the Monash Malaysia and South Africa campuses. She is the Director of the national ARROW institutional repository project, a member of the Australian eResearch Infrastructure Council (AeRIC) and the Deputy President of the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL).

Director, Client Services – Humanities and Social Sciences
Lisa Smith is the Director of Client Services – Humanities and Social Sciences. She is responsible for all Library services at Sir Louis Matheson Library and the Law Library at the Clayton campus and Caulfield Library, as well as education support, learning skills and information literacy. She has leadership responsibility for all Library activities related to the faculties of Arts, Art and Design, Education, Business and Economics and Law.

Director, Client Services – Science, Health and Engineering
Wilna Macmillan is the Director of Client Services – Science, Health and Engineering. She is responsible for all Library services at Hargrave-Andrew Library at the Clayton campus, Peninsula Library, Pharmacy Library at the Parkville campus, Gippsland Library and Berwick Library and Learning Commons, as well as research support, information services, lending services and document delivery. She has leadership responsibility for all library activities related to the faculties of Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Medicine and Pharmacy.

Director, Information Resources
Suzanne Clarke is the Director of Information Resources. She is responsible for ensuring the effective management and delivery of the Library's information resources. This includes acquisition and licensing of electronic, print and audiovisual resources and ensuring they are readily available to all Monash University Library users through the Library catalogue and web services.

Director, Central Services
Janette Burke is the Director of Central Services.  She oversees information technology, finance, human resources, communications and facilities management. Janette also manages the Library's relationships with the university's international community, affiliates and partner organisations.
